Default Dry hands

Now that the weather is changing my hands are starting to get dry and sore. I know that I shouldn't be using handcream with water as the first ingredient. Does anyone have a good handcream that works on very rough dry sore hands?

When my hands get really sore and dry, I usually discontinue the handcreams and strictly go with petroleum jelly. If you like a soft scent, you can always purchase the one for the babies, it still does a great job on skin.

Body butters are sometimes thicker than regular hand lotions. You might try that. Personally, I like the ones from Bath and Body Works.

When it gets too rough, I use Vaseline Intensive Care - it helps very well. It can be used for prevention, too. For milder dryness, I have a hand lotion with shea butter by Suave - it smells nice and treats the skin.

If you do not mind having oil on your hands, then, you should apply pure olive oil. It really works.

I always have petroleum jelly with me. But before I apply it, I wash my hands first and then when my hands are already semi-dry, I put on petroleum jelly so that the moisture will be sealed in.

Another skin care product for dry hands I have recently tried is by Jergens, I am very pleased with it - soft, non-greasy, with a pleasant scent and instant results. It truly revives my hands.

At night, try to put some oils or petroleum jelly over your hands and put on clean socks on it. Leave it for 4-5 hours or leave it overnight. After this, you can feel that your hands soften and smoothen. It is more advisable to do this before you sleep so it will be hassle free.

I saw this in one of TV shows doing this and all of them in the show were amazed.

DRY HANDS is a performance enhancing solution that alleviates grip problems caused by perspiration or rain. So effective, it actually repels water. Feel the difference with DRY HANDS, the most natural and comfortable grip available in sports today.
