Default Fake nails?

Does anyone here either buy fake nails and put them on or go to a salon and get them put on?

I did this years ago once (salon) and I kept them on almost 2 weeks. When I ripped them off (yes, it hurt) my nails underneath were so weak and just awful. It took about 6 months to grow them back out and for them to look healthy.

Just wondering if anyone else ever had this problem?

Aw that sounds terrible good thing I haven't tried putting fake nails. What do they put in it to make it stick in your nails?

I have bought cheap fake nails from the store before. It was actually kinda fun. The only thing I don't like is what it does to your nail when you take them off. It takes a while for your nail to look normal again. I'm not sure I would go to the salon and pay to have it done. I have always wanted to though, but mine look really good naturally so I just like to paint them at home. Everyone always thinks they're fake as it is

I had mine put on by a salon once and I will never do that again. Not only was it horrible to take them off, but it took several months before my nails looked normal again. Now, I just paint them, if I do anything.

I use the ones for the toes and I love them. I don't like going for pedicures but I love the look of French manicure on my feet - they look awesome with my toe-rings. I remove them every two weeks to replace them with new ones and it only costs me about 10 dollars for the whole kit - you can't go wrong.

My friend has been looking for a fake nails. I haven't heard about that before. I thought it was weird and I don't expect that some women are using it. She would be happy to know you guys. Anyway, are there any particular brands for fake nails?

I have learned something new! I did not know that artificial toenail were on the market. I got a salon pedicure once; however, I cannot stand the smell of the chemicals used in the salon. I received a foot bath whirlpool as a gift and I really like it.

I have never done this. When I get my nails done, they are ruined by the next day, so I don't bother.

My daughter in law gets her nails done every 6 weeks. She loves them and they always look nice.

My daughter wanted to try it, so we went and bought a kit. I put them on for her and within a couple of hours one fell off when she was playing basketball. We put it back on and it did stay. Then a couple of days later she wanted them off. It took us forever to get them off! Never again.
