Why? It seriously pisses me off. People rag on asians for wanting eyelid surgery, accusing them of wanting to look more white or be accepted, when nine times out of ten, that is not the freaking case. Why do they wanna get the surgery? Because they feel that it would make them look more attractive, and hence feel more confident. Isn't that the reason most women get plastic surgery? How is it that Asians wanting eyelid surgery is criticized so much more than white women getting nose jobs and boobs? Why aren't caucasian women who get boob jobs accused of trying to be black? I've even heard Asians accuse those who want the surgery of betraying their race. WTF.
I personally, DO want to get this surgery. My eyelids vary week to week. Sometimes they are big and I love them, sometimes they aren't and I don't. I want to get it to stabilize them, so that they stay big and don't morph back to small. Is that trying to be white?

Because Asian's can be a threat I guess. (In regards to physical appearance).

My Asian friends are hot already. If they got eyelid surgery, I'd be cast into their shadow! They don't really need it, but if they wanted it I would support it.

I dunno about the white women trying to be black with boob jobs though. That's not really a good analogy.

Yeah. I noticed that too. I even consider Asians women as the most beautiful in the world, specially those in the Philippines.

I also noticed that mostly people against asian eyelid surgery. All people have different views about the reson of asian eyelik surgery. They don't really need it but mostly asian girls are like to do eyelid surgery.
